We are proud to announce that CPRS National Board Member Rashpal Rai as our guest speaker!

Rashpal has over 10 years of experience in public relations and communications, primarily in the corporate sector and public-private partnerships. As public relations manager for the AirCare vehicle emissions inspection and maintenance program, he is responsible for all aspects of public relations and communications, including media, government, and community relations, and maintaining ongoing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

He has been a member of CPRS since 1999, and was a student member with CPRS Vancouver Island. He served as Treasurer for CPRS Vancouver in 2007/08 and in 2009/2011. He served as Conference Vice-Chair and Finance Chair for the CPRS 2009 National Conference – On the Edge held in Vancouver.

Rashpal also serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the B.C. SCRAP-IT Program Society, a B.C. vehicle scrappage program.

A native of Victoria, BC, Rashpal graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations.

CPRS-VI EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation of registrations to CPRS-VI events that occur within 24 hours are not eligible for refund. Cancellations between 24-48 hours before the event will be reimbursed 50 percent. Any cancellations occurring at a minimum of 48 hours preceding the event will be charged only bank charges and credit card charges incurred.
