Accreditation

The national accreditation program allows practitioners with five or more years of experience, who are members of CPRS, to earn an APR (Accredited in Public Relations) designation.

The purpose of the CPRS accreditation process is to assess a member's experience and competence in the professional practice of public relations and to recognize this achievement through the designation of accreditation.

The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and CPRS have a reciprocal agreement recognizing each other's APR designation.

As a candidate for accreditation, you must satisfactorily complete the three-part accreditation process and subscribe to the CPRS Code of Professional Standards. Upon successful completion, and ongoing membership in CPRS, you will be recognized as an Accredited Public Relations practitioner and authorized to use the "APR" designation. Here's a list of CPRS-VI members with APR designation.
