Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame

Board of Directors

 

The Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Fame is a volunteer run, registered non-profit organization that has been recognizing and celebrating achievements in and contributions to sport in the Greater Victoria region since 1991.

 

With regular 1.5hr monthly meetings & seasonal project work, the position below is open on the Hall's operational Board:

 Director, Communications & Marketing 

 

This role takes the lead in the overall promotion and marketing of the GVSHoF.  With the assistance of a Director at Large, you direct and support the promotional communications of the Board via its website, mailing list, media contacts and social media (currently Facebook & YouTube).  Particular focus is given to the annual Induction Dinner & Ceremony, the Board's fundraising efforts and scholarship awards, and occasional special events.  Leading a website update would also be a key component for this Director.

 

Term duration is typically three (3) years
