Beyond the Hype 2018

The program is almost all finalized but we just can’t keep it under wraps anymore. Registration opens today and we are super excited to tell you about the CPRS-VI Beyond the Hype 2018 line-up! This one-day conference is for experienced communications and public relations professionals. This year, we are committed to keeping it real. What does that mean? Well, we want this event to be authentic and practical.

You won’t want to miss our morning keynote -- Off-Camera: Tamara Taggart Gets Real. The veteran broadcaster, advocate and mother opens up to us about life, struggle and resiliency.

Sessions also include:

  • What's UX and Why Should You Care?

  • Don’t Feed Your Public Steak and Your Employees Dog Food

  • Storytellers and Their Stories: Lessons Learned From Behavioural Sciences

  • Cracking the Code: How to Make it to the C-Suite (A CEO Panel)

“We really want this experience to be special for you,” says CPRS-VI’s Beyond the Hype 2018 Planning Chair Tatiana Chabeaux-Smith. “At every committee meeting, we’ve kept three things in mind. We want you to leave the day feeling connected to your peers, inspired, and with practical information you can take back to your organization and implement right away.”

Join us for a dynamic day of learning and connecting on Friday, November 23 from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at Royal Roads University’s Quarterdeck, followed by a fabulous mixer in the majestic Hatley Castle!
